SEEING HIM
THROUGH MARY'S EYES ๐
A Note from Angie & the Supercharged Team
Hey there, Supercharged Sunday School community!
"And she will bring forth a Son,
and you shall call His name Jesus,
for He will save His people from their sins."
- Matthew 1:21 (NKJV)
I certainly hope this message finds you well, filled with the Christmas spirit and surrounded by love and joy. ๐โจ
My husband and I were married the week before Christmas and this year marks our 25th anniversary! It also marks our grand baby's first Christmas. So I am feeling a little nostalgia and pondering today. This got me thinking about Mary and the song Mary, Did You Know, which still gives me chill-bumps.
As we come closer to "the big day" of this beautiful season, let's take a moment to embrace the true meaning of Christmas and reflect on the incredible gift bestowed upon us: the birth of Jesus Christ, God's own Son. It's a time to celebrate His immeasurable love and grace, forever changing our lives.
As Sunday School teachers or parents, we have a unique role in shaping young hearts and guiding them to understand and cherish the true essence of Christmas. Let's share the story and LIVE IT OUT, showing them how to live in the light of God's love through our actions and words. We're blessed with the opportunity to inspire and nurture their faith, making this Christmas season a testament to God's grace and a source of inspiration for all who witness our lives.
Encourage your students or your kids (or yourself!) to take a moment to sit and ponder a manger scene you may pass in the neighbourhood or city street, allowing time to stand still as we consider the significance of that precious child.
As you embark on this joyful journey, embrace the warmth of God's love and the sheer delight that stems from knowing Jesus as our Saviour. May our hearts be filled with childlike wonder and excitement as we celebrate the birth of our Lord.
Let us seek to rest our hearts amid the chaos around us, taking a break to reflect on the profound gift that God has given us: His Son, Jesus Christ. As we encourage our children to embrace the true meaning of Christmas, may we also remind ourselves of the immeasurable love and grace that God has poured out upon us through His Son.
Wishing you abundant blessings and a Christmas season that overflows with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Warmest regards,
